Plan your first visit
Here's what happens when we gather, what to do with your kids, and how to find out exactly when to arrive.
Ask about service timesService times
Our weekly worship and Bible study schedule is posted at the church and shared with anyone who asks. Because times can shift with the season and with special services, we'd rather tell you the right one than leave an old one on a website — call or email us and we'll give you the current schedule, plus a landmark or two for finding the parking lot. You can reach us at (770) 317-7402 or lincoln@milstead.church.
When you arrive
A few practical things, so nothing catches you off guard.
Where to park and enter
Park anywhere in the lot and come in through the main doors. Someone will be there to greet you and walk you where you need to go.
Children and nursery
Little ones are genuinely welcome in worship — wiggles and all. If you'd prefer nursery care, a greeter will show you the check-in area and introduce you to the workers.
What to bring
Your Bible if you have one, and a pen if you like to take notes. If you don't own a Bible, tell us — we'll put one in your hands, no charge.
The offering
An offering is received as an act of worship by the members. Guests should feel no obligation whatsoever — you are our guest.
After the service
Nobody rushes for the parking lot. Stay, drink a cup of coffee, and let us learn your name and your story.
Need a ride?
If transportation is the only thing standing between you and Sunday morning, call the church and let's see what we can work out.
Events calendar
Beyond our weekly gatherings, the year is marked by revival services, fellowship meals, Vacation Bible School, student and children's activities, mission emphases, and services around Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Dates for upcoming events are announced from the pulpit, printed in the bulletin, and available from the church office — email lincoln@milstead.church and we'll make sure you know what's coming up and whether childcare is provided.
