Who we are
Milstead Baptist Church is a Baptist congregation in Conyers, Georgia, gathered around the preaching of God's Word and the ordinary, unglamorous work of loving our neighbors. We're not a large church and we're not trying to be a spectacle — we're a family that sings together, studies together, and looks after one another. Whether you grew up in a pew or have never opened a Bible, you will be treated with kindness here.
What we believe
We believe the Bible is the inspired, trustworthy Word of God and our final authority for faith and life. We believe every person is made in God's image, that sin has separated us from Him, and that Jesus Christ — fully God and fully man — died and rose again so that anyone who repents and trusts Him is forgiven and made new. Salvation is by grace through faith, never earned. We practice baptism by immersion for believers and the Lord's Supper as the church's shared remembrance of Christ's death until He returns. And we believe the local church matters: a congregation of baptized believers, committed to one another, holding out the gospel to its own community.

Scripture first
Sermons, classes, and songs all aim at the same thing — helping people know God through what He has actually said.
Honest hospitality
We'd rather be genuinely warm than impressively polished. Questions, doubts, and hard seasons are welcome in this building.
Every generation together
Children learning to sit through a sermon, students finding their footing, and seniors passing on decades of faithfulness — in one room, on purpose.
Rooted in Conyers
This is our town. We pray for its schools, its first responders, and its families, and we look for ways to serve them that outlast a single event.
